All templates, worksheets, documents, text, designs, and materials available on HonestBusinessPlans.com are the intellectual property of Honest Business Plans LLC and are protected by United States and international copyright laws.

Purchase of any product grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the materials strictly in accordance with the license purchased and these terms.

Ownership of the materials is not transferred.

License Types and Permitted Use

Individual (Personal) License

This license permits use solely for your own business or internal planning related to a single business or organization.

You may:

  • Edit and customize the templates for your own business
  • Use the materials to prepare internal business plans, financial documents, and presentations
  • Store digital copies for personal or internal use.

You may not:

  • Use the templates to create deliverables for clients or third parties
  • Share, distribute, sublicense, or provide the templates to others
  • Sell, resell, license, or bundle the templates or derivative works
  • Upload the templates to any public, private, or commercial repository
  • Claim ownership of the templates or represent them as your own proprietary materials

Consultant and Client License

This license permits use in professional, advisory, or client-facing engagements.

You may:

  • Customize templates for multiple clients or businesses
  • Deliver completed or customized business plans to clients as part of your professional services
  • Use the materials internally within your consulting or advisory practice

You may not:

  • Resell, sublicense, distribute, or share the original templates or template files
  • Provide clients with editable template files
  • Upload templates or derivative templates to public or commercial repositories
  • Offer the templates as standalone products or include them in template libraries
  • Claim ownership of the templates or their underlying structure

Only finalized or customized outputs may be delivered to clients.
The original template files remain licensed to you only.

Prohibited Uses (All Licenses)

Under no circumstances may the templates or substantially similar derivative versions be:

  • Resold or redistributed
  • Shared with unauthorized users
  • Posted online or made publicly accessible
  • Used to create competing products or services
  • Included in software tools, platforms, or AI training datasets

Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Honest Business Plans LLC.
Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution may result in termination of access and legal action.
